1. Production and distribution of quality seedlings/ cuttings of fruits and vegetables in view of local demand.
2. Providing horticultural advice to agriculturists.
3. Finding, collecting and preserving fruit and vegetable germplasm near indigenous extinction.
4. Extension of horticultural crops at local level through exhibitions.
5. Providing technical assistance for skill development of nursery mangoes.
6. Provide training on horticulture to DAE's / other organization's officers-employees.
