Project Name: Project on Nutrition Development through Year Round Fruit Production, Directorate of Agricultural Extension Project Director: Dr. Md. Mehdi Masud, Mob: 01716260695, Phone: 88-2-9101175.

Purpose:

1) To increase the production of horticultural crops by bringing the uneven and hilly land of the country's 3 hilly districts and other districts and the unused land of sub-districts and other regions and the land around the houses under modern methods of cultivation, besides keeping the opportunity for the production of other field crops in the plains intact;
ii) Cluster/club based production of indigenous and exportable crops

3) Increase production of quality seedling cuttings through infrastructure development and modernization of existing horticulture centers and establishment of newly established horticulture centers;

4) extension of horticultural crop technology;

5) Poverty alleviation through women empowerment, income generation and employment generation in horticulture.
Project Area: 362 Upazilas and 60 Garden Development Centers in 45 districts

Activities: Training and educational tours, exhibitions, purchase of vehicles, purchase of agricultural machinery and office equipment, construction and construction, construction of urban sales centers, fruit processing factories, logistic support and infrastructure development of horticulture centers.
